Are you looking for a trusted partner to help you launch your ecommerce website?
Grimany Digital Marketing has been offering website design and development services in Louisville, KY for over 4 years. I, Orlando Grimany, am a freelance web developer who has helped dozens of ecommerce clients from all over build, launch, and maintain their online stores.
In this blog post I will go over the process you can expect when we work together to build, launch, and maintain your online store.
First we chat
Scheduling a time to talk on the phone will help us get on the same page about your project.
Understanding the full scope will be crucial for both of us to make sure you get everything your website needs and you’re not paying for something you don’t need.
This first chat may turn into several more as we discuss your ideas and how best to execute them.
My clients and I have built a rapport over the years because they know they can turn to me for advice or a consultation whenever they need to.
Ready to hop on a call and discuss your project? Awesome! Just send me a quick note and we’ll find time to chat.
Then I get to work on building your ecommerce website
I work primarily with WordPress and the WooCommerce plugin to build websites.
I use WordPress because it offers near limitless customization options in terms of design and functionality.
I use the Divi WordPress theme to build websites because with this theme I can leverage premade layouts, a visual drag and drop builder, and dozens of modules including some specific to WooCommerce.
The Divi theme allows me to build beautiful and fully customized online stores that can meet every design and technical spec. You can click here to learn more about why I use the Divi theme to build ecommerce websites.
During the build you’ll be able to track every step of the process because I will put the website up on a server you can access anytime. You’ll be able to see edits and changes live as they happen and provide any feedback as necessary.
3… 2… 1… Launch!
Before launch I’ll help you set up some essential elements that every ecommerce website should have.
These elements include email optin forms that appear throughout the website to capture leads and add them to a mailing list.
In addition to capturing leads and building a valuable mailing list I will also make sure your website meets current web standards for page loading times.
Today’s online shoppers expect websites to take no longer than 3 seconds to load. By reducing the time it takes your website to load we can improve the user experience and retain more visitors.
When the time to launch comes around you can rest assured that you’ll hit the ground running with these essential ecommerce elements.
Ongoing website maintenance
A website is an investment that provides tremendous value. Looking after that investment will ensure that it stays running smoothly.
That’s why I offer post-launch web services to make sure your new ecommerce website is taken care of.
My ongoing care website services include routine maintenance where I update WordPress and WooCommerce, as well as the Divi theme and plugins.
These updates are pushed by developers to address security vulnerabilities and improve performance, which in turn improves your website’s overall performance.
In addition to routine maintenance I also set up automatic backups, SSL certificates, and configure the server for WordPress and WooCommerce. You’ll also receive free server support and troubleshooting.
Hopefully this post answered at least some of the questions you had, but I’m sure you have more specific questions that I couldn’t answer here. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and we’ll hop on a call where you can ask me anything about your ecommerce project.
